-- Spent the majority of his life living in Poplar Bluff.
-- Kyle graduated from high school at the age of 17. He was an almost straight A student, captain of the football team, captain of the wrestling team, and all around a very popular kid. He never really let it go to his head, though. He wasn't the typical asshole jock who judged people.
-- Knew from a very early age what he wanted to do with his life. He always wanted to be a pro wrestler or a professional athlete.
-- He was accepted to a number of colleges all over the country due to his incredible grades and academic achievements in high school. He ended up going to University of Oklahoma, and spent four years as a Sooner.
-- Graduated college at the age of 21. He was an All American at University of Oklahoma. He was on the wrestling team and also continued playing football while he was there. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Business with an almost perfect GPA.
-- Kyle's a very book smart young man, but he also has common sense to spare.
-- While in his senior year of high school he had a try-out match with WWE, under the advisement of his sister Sasha. He wasn't sure he'd get in or even be looked at a second time but he went ahead and gave it a go.
-- He was signing his first contract with World Wrestling Entertainment before he even graduated college.
-- When he finished his college career, Kyle moved to Tampa, Florida where he trained pretty much tirelessly at FCW. He had spent a few months down in developmental before being called up at the end of 2008 ( at the age of 22 ) to compete under the name Scot Swagger. His call up was fast, his push fast, as well, but Kyle somehow managed to roll with the punches of how quickly his life turned around and changed from college life to life on the road with WWE.
-- Personality wise, he's a huge goofball. He loves to laugh, make others laugh, and be surrounded by good people with good energy.
-- Kyle loves his family and absolutely idolizes his big sister Sasha. He thinks she's the epitome of what a person should be; sweet, charming, caring, loving and selfless. He tries to model himself after the way he sees his sister carry herself and classifies her as his biggest inspiration not just professionally but personally.
-- Thinks that the mind is a person's most trusted ally. Whenever he's not training, in the gym or in the wrestling ring, you can generally find him at the beach ( or anywhere, really ) with a good book. He loves reading, it's by far one of his favorite pastimes.
-- He's a bit of a partier. He smokes and drinks, but he doesn't do drugs of any kind. He's not even big on pain killers. He loves to have a good time with friends, go out and enjoy a nice night with people he loves being around, is a big fan of cook outs and good old fashioned American fun ( like playing football, drinking beer, and what not ) yet he doesn't go over board with drinking. He knows his limits, and never really tries to "push it to be cool". He basically feels if people can't respect the way he is and the way he chooses to consume his vices, they don't need to be around him.
-- He's a very open minded young man with a big heart. He hates seeing people upset or hurt, so he tries to reach out and generally be a pleasant person. He was raised to treat people with respect and tries to do so every single day of his life.
-- Is a believer in God, but doesn't go to church all the time. Though, he does pray, has his prayer beads, and things like that. He believes he wouldn't be anywhere today without the blessings in his life he had received from the good Lord.
-- His heroes in life are his momma and his daddy. He doesn't care if you think that makes him a nerd.
-- Being born on Independence Day, he takes great pride in sharing his birthday with the great country he lives in. He's very much an "American boy" and is proud of that. His ring attire generally shows his pride, as does his in-ring persona.
-- Kyle loves meeting new people and is always up for it.
-- He is single by choice, mostly, just because he hasn't found the right person. He's picky, because he doesn't want to just throw away his loyalty and love on just some random fling. He's very particular and thinks that love is a sort of sacred thing that gets taken for granted every single day. He refuses to be like that. So he's patient.
-- Has a bit of a lisp, but it's exaggerated on television as part of his persona. It's not nearly as bad in real life.
-- Has a home in West Chester, Pennsylvania to be closer to his sister. He shares said home with his dog Ella. Ella travels with Kyle when he's on the road, as well.
